Intermec is a machining company on Askøy, just outside Bergen. We work with advanced CNC machining and place strong emphasis on quality, HSE and a safe, professional and positive working environment.
Our employees and apprentices work across CNC programming, machining, production planning and quality inspection. This gives our team the opportunity to develop broad technical knowledge and gain experience with modern manufacturing processes.
We invest in advanced CNC machinery, modern equipment and employee training. Just as importantly, we believe in a workplace where people are respected, supported and given the opportunity to grow.

CNC machining combines programming, technical understanding and hands-on experience. It is a profession that keeps evolving as new machinery, tooling and software change the way we work.
We take an active role in training CNC machinist apprentices. Our experienced professionals provide close guidance and practical training across different machining processes, giving apprentices a broad understanding of modern CNC production.
Our goal is to help each apprentice develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to become a competent and independent CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of quality, precision and efficient manufacturing.
